Creativity is not exclusive. It is at least partially learned by being exposed to great works of art.
The Waxhaw Woodturners are excited to announce that we are now meeting in Matthews NC at the McDowell Arts Center! The Town of Matthews has graciously provided our club excellent facilities in which to hold meetings and provide woodturning demonstrations as well as future classes. The Arts Center is located at 123 E. McDowell St., and has ample parking available. As usual, club meetings are held on the first Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 pm and visitors are always welcome!
Due to the Summer Arts Camp that the Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Matthews manages each year, our normal meeting facility in the McDowell Arts Center studio is not available for the months of July and August. During these two months, we have our meetings in the Matthews Community Center, which is just across the street.
